For MCNs & agencies
Bring your roster. Keep 80% of the margin.
Ownlet builds and runs a branded store for every creator you manage. We source, stock, ship and support. On every sale across your roster, 80% of the margin is paid to your agency — and how you share it with your creators is your call.
- 80% of margin, flat
- Paid to the agency
- You set the creator split
- $0 to start, nothing exclusive
How the partnership works
Five steps from a first conversation to your roster earning. Two of them are yours, and neither involves inventory.
- You Tell us about your roster Which platforms, which categories, which markets your creators sell into. One agreement covers the agency — your creators do not each sign with us.
- Both Onboard your creators Each creator you bring gets their own branded store and their own creator account, tagged to your agency from day one. You choose who joins and when.
- Ownlet We build, stock, ship and support Every store runs on our catalogue, our inventory and our fulfilment. Payments, shipping, returns and buyer support are ours — exactly as they are for creators who join us directly.
- Ownlet We pay the agency 80% of the margin on every sale across your roster is paid to the agency, on the platform's standard payout schedule. Your creators' stores earn into one agency balance.
- You You pay your creators How much of that goes to each creator, and on what terms, is your decision. Ownlet does not sit between you and the people you manage.
What the agency earns
Every product in the catalogue is listed with its landed cost. Your creators set their retail prices, the same way every Ownlet creator does. The difference between the two is the margin on a sale.
80% of that margin goes to the agency. Not 80% of the sale price — the fee is only ever taken from the margin, never off the top of a creator's price.
The rate is flat. Creators who join Ownlet on their own move up a ladder of partner levels, earning a bigger share as they sell more; an agency roster is on the top rate from its first sale, for every creator on it, regardless of level.
Here is one real product from the catalogue, at the price we suggest for it:
- Landed cost (product + handling + US shipping)
- $8.30
- Retail price (suggested — the creator’s to change)
- $29.90
- Margin on the sale
- $21.60
- The agency keeps, per sale
- $17.28
How much of the $17.28 reaches the creator is between you and them. Nothing is charged to open a store, to keep one, or to add a creator to your roster. We only earn when something sells.
Who does what
We take on the capital and the logistics. What stays with you is what an agency is for — the people, the content, and the deal you make with each of them.
The agency does
- Bring and manage the creators on your roster
- Decide each creator’s share and pay them
- Keep your creators posting and disclosing the partnership
- Help your creators choose products and set prices
Ownlet handles
- Source the products and hold the stock
- Build and host a store for every creator, on their own domain
- Set up payments and checkout
- Pack, ship and handle returns
- Answer buyer support mail
- Shoot the product photography and write the specs
- Report orders and margin across your roster
What your creators get
Each creator on your roster gets what every Ownlet creator gets: a store on their own domain with their name on the products, the full catalogue with landed costs printed on every page, pricing control, and a creator portal for their orders, content material and store settings. They can also use the same store link on every platform they post on.
Roster-level reporting — orders, margin and payouts across all of your creators — is delivered to your agency by our partnerships team today. A self-serve agency workspace is on our roadmap; partner agencies will be the first to see it.
Questions agencies ask
Is the 80% taken from the sale price?
No. It is 80% of the margin — the retail price minus the landed cost of the product. The landed cost is shown on every product page before anyone decides to carry it.
Does the rate change as our creators grow?
No. The agency rate is flat across your whole roster, from the first sale, whatever level an individual creator sits on.
Who pays our creators?
You do. Ownlet pays the agency; the split with each creator, and the paperwork behind it, is between you and them. We do not contract with your creators individually.
Is it exclusive?
No. An Ownlet store runs alongside whatever else your creators do — affiliate programmes, brand deals, their own shops. Any store can be closed at any time at no cost.
Is there a minimum roster size?
There is no minimum to start the conversation. Tell us who you manage and we will tell you where the fit is strongest.
One of our creators already has an Ownlet store.
Then that store stays theirs. A creator who joined Ownlet directly keeps their own agreement, their own level and their own payouts — an existing direct store cannot be moved under an agency. Your roster is the creators you bring in.
How do we get started?
Fill in the agency application — a few lines about your roster, the platforms, categories and markets. No account is created; a person on our partnerships team replies by email, usually within two business days. Prefer email? Write to hello@ownlet.co.
